Think about it for a second...you pay off every single one of your consumer debts.  You have no other payment other than your mortgage.  How does the thought of that make you feel?  Now imagine you pay off your debts AND your mortgage.  You don't owe a dime to anyone for anything.  That, my friend, is financial freedom!
